Coming Up - The Most Important Article I Have Written About Pose!

Over the past few years, I've read a lot of comments about Pose Running, and it is clear to me that most of the anti-Pose people are ignorant of exactly what Pose theory states, and that ignorance is reflected in their arguments. There are three points of confusion about Pose theory that seem to consistently come up in one form or another.
  1. Where does the energy come from in Pose Running?
  2. Gravity is a downward force. How can it be used to move forward?
  3. How can you lean forward without pushing?
So coming up in my next post, I'm going to try to answer these points of confusion. I consider my next post to be the most important article I have written about Pose. As a result, I am a little nervous because I want it to a very precise and unambiguous. Unfortunately English is not a precise and unambiguous language, and no matter how hard I try, I can't quite seem to write anything that leaves no room for interpretation. So we will see how it goes.

I have sent the outline of my next post to Dr. Romanov to make sure I am accurately presenting the ideas behind Pose theory, and he told me that it is very accurate. So I believe that my article will give many people a much clearer picture of Pose theory. They may still find fault with it, but at least they will have to improve upon their arguments.

So stay tuned! I hope to get it finished very shortly

  1. Ken, looking forward to the article! As you say, words alone may not be enough to fully make the points, so I have to wonder if some pictures or even animations can be help.

    1. Great point! I will think about how I might integrate pictures and videos to help make my points clearer. I'm not sure if illustrations and videos will help much with my upcoming article, but they generally do help when describing various aspects of running technique.

      Thanks,
      Ken
